I'm always striving to be better - a better mother, a better wife, a better sister, a better person. Sometimes it's driven by a feeling of not being good enough. Other times it is encouraged by positive emotions like motivation to grow as a person or inspiration from other people's successes.
Next month I am striving to improve myself and my life again. I've been inspired by the enthusiasm of a good friend of my Mum's to step out of my comfort zone and try something that I am skeptical about. I'm bravely trying something new and different. I'm going to do a 30 day cleanse programme.
Despite my skepticism I'm very excited about this cleanse because if it works for me there is the possibility to loose weight, feel better and more energetic and to generally live in a healthier body. My word of the year is 'nourish' and so far I have very much focussed on nourishing my spirit and my relationships. Now it's time to turn to my attention to my body.
And if this 30 day cleanse helps me then I have the opportunity to pay it forwards and help other people by training as a Cleanse Coach, helping other people to cleanse and nourish their own bodies and improve their own lives.
I'm going to document each day of the cleanse here, the aim is to start on 22nd May but I'll let you know. I feel like it will be a fun way to hold myself accountable and if you are similarly inspired I'd love to have you do it along with me.
